I. - Jerome

Molina and Herrera (1536-1603) was born in Almagro
, Extremadura, in 1536, although There are authors who are born in 1532 (Medina) or 1531 (Roa).
was the son of Carlos de Molina and Elvira de Herrera and paternal grandson of Antonio de Molina, a resident of Ciudad Real, La Mancha, Castilla la Nueva. His brothers Carlos, Antonio, Francisco Cosme and also came to Chile, but only stayed the first female offspring (note).

Pajuelo Molina, was born in Santiago, was endowed with the Augustinian houses in the street and stay Cauquenes for their marriage in 1608 with Diego Florez Ramirez Leon and Penalosa, born in Madrid in 1561 , lord of an entailed estate established by his mother, came to Chile in 1590, where he served as commissary general of cavalry and field marshal of the army, was a knight of the Order of Santiago and encomendero in Peru, wrote a memorial on the population of Valdivia as a city-gunner and another on the creation of the viceroyalty of Chile with jurisdiction over the Río de la Plata and Tucumán mayor of Conception and Piura in Peru.
